Communicating from Birth

This summer we have been blessed at the farm with a new puppy.  Nimara is a tan and blue merle pure Chihuahua and her person is Charlotte Brammer.  Charlotte has written this week’s blog and brings her own experiences with Nimara and some great insights on communicating with our animals from birth.

Communicating from Birth

There are many benefits to communicating telepathically with our animals from the moment they are born: it helps keep their channels open and strong throughout life, helps connect and build the bond between you are your four legged baby, assist in the training process speeding and simplifying it, it can even help to improve your confidence and trust in yourself as you continue to practice your skills. There are also many challenges that go along with communicating within the varying growth stages; in this week’s blog we will cover what you can expect and how to overcome obstacles when communicating with your young animals. For simplicity’ sake and lack of space I am going to be focusing today’s topic on communicating with puppies, as each species is slightly different in their behaviour to cover them all would take far to much time.

In my experience when puppies are first born they are still very connected to the universal energies and so their answers can be extremely fast and detailed, this is nice when trying to speak with them, however the difficulties begin when you start asking them to give you physical ques. They are still getting used to their new physical bodies and in the beginning there can be some confusion as to what they believe they look like feel like etc. Until they are slightly older it is better just to ask them simple questions and allow them to explain their experiences to you as they learn them, thus beginning the bond that will grow as you take your new puppy home with you.

Once you have your puppy this is the time when communication becomes crucial as you are setting the boundaries, teaching the lessons and helping the animal to create its lifelong personality; just because they have four legs and hair all over doesn’t make them any less of a baby! Most animals go through very similar developmental stages as human babies, however theses stages are vastly accelerated though some seem to go on forever; the thing to remember is not to get discouraged as most puppies have an incredibly short attention span and are operating at a purely instinctual level as they learn what the world is like. This means that even though they may understand and agree to do something they can quickly forget and so need to be reminded often.

An example of this is when telepathically communicating doesn’t correct the behavioural issue all puppies have, biting. Normally behavioural issues stem from an imbalance in the animals life which is causing negative stress. We communicate with them to figure out what the imbalance is and how to correct it; once the imbalance is corrected the behaviour should resolve itself. Unfortunately for our hands, clothes and furniture, biting, nipping and chewing is a normal and natural behaviour stemming from one of their developmental stages. This means we can’t correct it, we must simply wait it out until the stage is completed. We can however use communication to steer their behaviour towards toys and bones instead of hands and leather sofas. As I mentioned above keep their attention spans in mind and don’t get discouraged as the occasional baby tooth breaks skin, just keep gently reminding them of the better option.

Consistency is the key, we need to continually and gently remind them of the boundaries, (don’t bite faces) with both physical language and telepathic communication. Using consistent telepathic communication can also help you to speed the process of toilet training. You can visualize them doing their business outside and send good feelings, and then visualize them playing sleeping and sitting nicely in the house. We never want to send them pictures of them doing their business in the house even if you send bad feelings with the images as this confuses them and can often lead them to go to the bathroom in the house. Instead if they do have an accident send them strong no feelings and then again picture outside as you take them to their washroom spot and send good feelings about that spot. You can also use visualization to help them understand training aids such as sit, down and stay. The visualizations can help to clarify what you want the animal to do and keep them tuned into and listening to you.

All in all it is never easy to raise a baby no matter the species and as long as we are patient, honest about our emotions and allow space for the animal to grow and learn along side of our guidance we can’t really go wrong. Telepathic communication is a way to deepen the life long bond we share with our animals and eliminate some of the stress that the language barrier creates. Imagine the relief a frustrated animal must feel when they finally get a visual aid and can understand what their owner has been trying to teach them as they finally get praised. Telepathic communication isn’t the only way to communicate with our animals and indeed we need body language and verbal aids to be successful but it can greatly help us in our endeavour to raise an unconditionally loving friend.

Love to all our four, two, feathered, furred or scaly companions

Thanks so much for letting us know, I think I know why this has been happening. When I work on the site and then publish it for the short time that it is publishing the site would disappear, it publishes fairly quickly so that would also explain why it would be fine once refreshed.

Confidence comes from many things: first and foremost is practice and when we are practicing we have to let go of the fear of making mistakes or failure. Once you can do this you can get better and learn more each time you practice a skill, you will begin to see improvements and results and each time you get a result it will allow you to trust yourself more and then you will slowly gain confidence in yourself. The hard part is to recognize our negative sabotaging thoughts, they can pop up at any time when we feel like we aren't progressing or make a mistake and then choosing not to get sucked into them. Everything you experience is just a natural part of your process and so don't let those sabotaging thoughts chip away at the confidence you build.

I actually have been considering it, but getting the logistics and such prepared had to take a back seat to some of the other things that needed to be focused on first. I am hoping to be able to start posting video blogs and other types of things by latest fall!! Thanks so much for your validation on if this would be a good idea.

Thank you so much for you comments. The blogs are an amalgam of my passions and so don't really feel like work at all. I truly enjoy writing them, almost finding them as a nice break from other work endeavours, and hopefully people find them as enjoying as I do. Thanks Again!
